1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Pet Network ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Pet Network mobile application and website at petnetwork.io (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Pet Network is a mobile application that allows users to:

• Earn PET coins through in-app mining sessions.
• Build a social profile and share content related to pets and animals.
• Connect with other pet owners and animal lovers in a community feed.
• Discover and support registered animal associations and shelters.
• View their PET coin balance and mining history in a wallet dashboard.
• Invite friends through a referral program.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

The Service is not available in jurisdictions where its use would be prohibited by applicable law.

4. Account Registration

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

5. PET Token & Mining

Pet Network features an in-app virtual currency called "PET coin" or "PET token." Please understand the following:

• Virtual currency: PET coins are an in-app virtual reward and are not legal tender, fiat currency, or a regulated financial instrument.
• No guarantee of value: We make no representation or guarantee regarding the future value, exchangeability, or utility of PET coins. Their value may change or become zero.
• Mining mechanics: Coins are earned through legitimate use of the mining feature within the app. Any attempt to artificially inflate balances through bots, scripts, or other automated means is strictly prohibited.
• No purchase required: PET coins can be earned for free through normal app usage. We do not currently sell PET coins for real money.
• Balance changes: We reserve the right to adjust coin balances, mining rates, or reward structures at any time. We may also correct erroneous balances resulting from bugs or abuse.
• Not a financial product: Nothing in the Service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, or a solicitation to invest.

6. User Content

The Service allows you to post, upload, and share content including text, photos, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it you grant Pet Network a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit.
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
• Your User Content is accurate and not misleading.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, without prior notice.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Using bots, scripts, or any automated tools to artificially earn PET coins or manipulate the Service.
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse referral programs or mining rewards.
• Posting content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app.
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
• Engaging in any conduct that interferes with or disrupts the Service.
• Collecting or harvesting other users' personal data without their consent.
• Using the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by Pet Network and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or its content without our express written permission. The Pet Network name, logo, and all related product and service names, design marks, and slogans are trademarks of Pet Network. You may not use any of our trademarks without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Service.

Our Service relies on third-party infrastructure including Google Firebase, Cloudflare, and Expo. Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms of service.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that defects will be corrected or that the Service will meet your requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PET NETWORK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
• Any loss or change of PET coin balance.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 USD OR THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pet Network and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@petnetwork.io or by using the account deletion feature in the app. See our Data Deletion Policy for details on what happens to your data upon account deletion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending a notification via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
